A sub irrigation planter

I created my first planter this week. It’s a sub-irrigation planter, meaning it has perforated tubes at the planter’s bottom, which holds water. The planting mix wicks the water upwards towards the plants. It’s more efficient than watering from the top since it cuts down on the water lost to evaporation.

Here’s the instructable.
